Good Riddance
Living in Darwin, my two young boys were constantly eaten alive by mozzies, so applying repellent was a daily must.
I decided to ditch the DEET after being shocked by the WARNING label on my repellent and started my search for a safer option. But, I was let down by every natural repellent as they simply didn’t work for us in the tropics.
Determined to do something about it, I spent 2 years studying cosmetic chemistry & aromatherapy. In 2011, I completed a Diploma in Personal Care Formulation and started to create a safe and effective repellent.
I spent 2 years trialing my formulas with local fishermen in the most mozzie and midge-prone areas of the Top End, including Kakadu. After 37 formulas, I finally perfected a natural repellent that
really worked, was apleasure to use, and was safe for
our kids & the planet. Good Riddance was born…
